What About Digital? â™»
Sustainability is about the full picture of a product’s life. Where did it come from, what materials are used, and what happens to the product at the end of its useful life? K&R uses lightweight aluminum framing with 30-51% recycled content that is long-lasting and fully recyclable. Many of our printable substrates are sourced domestically and we offer recycling options for the used fabric to complete the circle.
Conversely, the production of digital displays uses a heavy amount of material resources and then requires high energy output to operate. At the end of its life, a monitor is often thrown in a landfill.
